Become Obsessed With Something
To stay focused in a world of endless possibilities, we must become obsessed with an idea.
Obsession is where curiosity meets intention.
Focus in action creates momentum, which carries ideas across time. The less focused we are, the more we dilute our impact. The more we hone in, the higher the likelihood we’ll contribute something meaningful to the world.
Focus demands attention.
When we pay attention to something for an extended period of time, we notice or unlock an emergent process.
Everything, including ideas, is always in the process of changing form—we catalyze, influence, or accelerate this transformation by immersing ourselves in it.
Fragmented attention produces fragmented results, which eventually lead to stagnation. Losing momentum is cutting off the life supply of progress. Without progress, ideas can’t realize their potential.
Sustained focus is how we move things toward their intended purpose.
Impact is the manifestation of intended purpose. It can only be achieved through intentional effort.
The innovator becomes fixated on finding a solution. The artist is consumed by expressing an idea. The founder commits to finding product-market fit.
What we give our energy to grows—it always leads somewhere. Whether it’s clarity, validation, disappointment, or closure, focus brings things to the surface and reveals the truth.
Shifts & Signals
Trends and undercurrents in culture and technology
The rise of ‘UnLLMable’ creativity. Sari Azout, founder of Sublime, introduced the concept of being “unLLMable” at Sana AI Summit, highlighting the value of unique, context-rich human expression in an era increasingly dominated by AI-generated content. Source
The return of the crowd. Lady Gaga breaks the world record for the highest-attended concert by a female artist, reflecting our collective hunger for IRL, shared experiences. Source
Creative expression as resistance. The 2025 Met Gala theme, ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,’ reminds us that creativity, in all its forms, is not apolitical. It’s a form of cultural authorship, a collective mirror, and a portal to decolonial futures. Source

Inquiry: What is currently begging for my attention? What is getting most of my attention? What misalignment—or avoidance—does the disconnect between the two reveal?
Micro-experiment: Spend 90 minutes focused on exploring one specific idea. Cover all clocks. Set a timer. Note the process and results.

Working Theory
True intelligence is the capacity to hold multiple truths while recognizing that information is always missing from our perception of the truth.
Not for Everyone.
But maybe for you and your curiosity and evolution loving patrons?
Hello Negin,
I hope thid finds you in a rare pocket of stillness.
We hold deep respect for what you've built here—and for how.
We’ve just opened the door to something we’ve been quietly handcrafting for years.
Not for mass markets. Not for scale. But for memory and reflection.
Not designed to perform. Designed to endure.
It’s called The Silent Treasury.
A sanctuary where truth, judgment, and consciousness are kept like firewood—dry, sacred, and meant for long winters.
Where trust, vision, patience, and stewardship are treated as capital—more rare, perhaps, than liquidity itself.
The 3 inaugural pieces speak to quiet truths we've long engaged with:
1. Why many modern investment ecosystems (PE, VC, Hedge, ALT, spac, rollups) fracture before they root
2. Why Judgment, ‘Signal’, and Trust Migrate Toward Niche Information Sanctuaries
3. The Hidden Costs of Clarity Culture — for long term, irreversible decisions
These are not short, nor designed for virality.
They are multi-sensory, slow experiences—built to last.
If this speaks to something you've always felt but rarely seen expressed,
perhaps these works belong in your world.
